About this statute
This section says the Act may be cited as the Defonce (Amendment) Act, 1987, and is to be read together with the Defence Act. This provision amends the principal Act by inserting a new Part immediately after Part ID. The President may grant honorary commissions to serving citizens of Zambia, and may later suspend, revoke, or withdraw them. The President may also delegate these powers to another person. The President may make regulations by statutory instrument for carrying out this Part, subject to this Act.
