This Act sets salary rates for listed constitutional office holders and repeals the 1992 emoluments Act.
Constitutional Offices (Emoluments) [No. 41 of 1993 309 GOVERNMENT OF ZAMBfA ACT No. 41 of 1993 Date of Assent: 20th December, 1993 An Act to provide for revised salaries for holders of offices to which Article 105 of the Constitution applies; to repeal the Constitu tional Offices (Emoluments) Act, 1992; and to provide for matters connected with or incidental to the foregoing. [24th December, 1993 ENACI'ED by the Parliament of 2.ambia. 1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Constirutional Offices (Emolu ments) Act, 1993. (2) Section two shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 1st April, 1993. (3) Section three shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 1st September, 1993. 2. 1be holder of an office specified in the first column of the First Schedule shall be paid as from the 1st April, 1993, a salary at the annual rate prescribed for that office in the second column of the First Schedule. 3. 1be holder of an office specified in the first column of the Second Schedule shall be paid as from the 1st September, 1993, a salary at the annual rate prescribed for that office in the second column of the Second Schedule. 4. 1be Constitutional Offices (Emoluments) Act, 1992, is hereby repealed.
