Casino (Amendment) Act, 1994

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Casino (Amendment) Act, 1994, and shall be read as one with the Casino Act, 1992, in this Act referred to as the principal Act. (2) This Act shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 29th January, 1994.

2. Section three of the principal Act is amended by the deletion in paragraph (b) of subsection (7) of" twelve thousand five hundred kwacha " and lhe substitution lhercfor of" twenty-five thousand kwacha ".

3. Section fifteen of the principal Act is amended by the deletion in- Enacimcnt Short title and commence­ ment Act No. 13 oft992 Amendment of section 3 Amendment of section 15 (a) subsection (1) of" K75,000" and lhc substitution therefor of II KI 00,000 11; (b) sub-paragraph (i) of paragraph (a) of subsection (1) or "K25,000" and lhe substitution therefor of" K30,000 11; ( c) sub-paragraph (ii) of paragraph ( a) of subscct ion ( 1) of " K30,000" and the substitution therefor of" K40.000 "; Single copies of this Act may be obtained from the GovernmenJ Printer, PO.
