About this statute

This section gives the Act its short title and says it starts on a date appointed by the Minister by statutory order. This section defines key terms used in the Act. This section creates the Zambia Agency for Persons with Disabilities as a body corporate and gives it corporate powers, subject to the Act. If a judgment or order is obtained against the Agency, no execution, attachment, or other process may be issued against the Agency or its property, and the Director-General must pay the amount due from the Agency’s revenue to the person entitled. The Agency must carry out listed functions for persons with disabilities.
