Presidential (Emoluments) (Amendment) [No.18 of 1997 its GOVERNMENT OF ZAMBIA ACT. No. 18 of1997 Date of Assent: 6th November, 1997 An Act to amend the Presidential (Emoluments) Act [14th November, 1997 ENACTED by the Parliament of Zambia. 1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Presidential (Emolu­ ments) (Amendment) Act, 1997, and shall be read as one with the Presidential Emoluments Act, in this A�treferred to as the principal Act. (2) This Act shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 18th November, 1996. Enactment Short tide and commence­ ment Cap. 261 2. Section two of the principal Act is amended by the deletion of paragraphs (a) and (b) and the substitution therefor of the following paragraphs: Amendment of section 2 (a) a salary calculated at the annual rate ofK6,161,963; and (b) a special annual allowance ofK4,018,269.
