Criminal-Procedure Code (Amendment) [No. S of1997 15 GOVERNMENT OF ZAMBIA ACT · No. S of1997 Date of assent: 12th April, 1997 An Act lo amend the Criminal Procedure Code [18th April, 1997 ENACTED by the Parliament of Zambia. 1. (I) This Act may be cited as the Criminal Procedure Code (Amendment) Act, 1997, and shall be read as one with the criminal Procedure Code, in this Act referred to as the principal Act. (2) This Act shall be deemed to have come into force on the I st February, 1997. Enactment Short title and co111mcncmcnt 2. The principal Act is amended, in section two hundred and twenty-one, by the addition afier paragraph (b) of the following new paragraph: Amendment or section 221 (c) Any fee paid into court, under paragraph (b), as a fine, in respect of a road traffic offence under the Roads and Road Traffic Act, shall be paid into the general revenues of the Republic.
