Presidential Emoluments (Amendment) Act, 2002

Supplement to the Republic o[Zambia Gov_emmenc Gazeue dated Friday. 20th November. 2002 [No. 7 of2002 87 GOVERNMENT OF ZAMBIA ACT No. 7 of 2002 Date of Assent: 19th November. 2002 An Act to amend the Presidential Emoluments Act [ 20th November, 2002 ENACTED by the Parliament of Zambia. 1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Presidential Emoluments (Amendment) Act, 2002, and shall be read as one with the Presidential Emoluments Act, in this Act referred to as the principal Act. (2) TilisAct shall bed_eemed to have come into operation on the 1st April, 2002. Enactment Short title Cap.261 2 . Section two of the principal Act is amended by the deletion of paragraphs ( a) and (b) and the substitution therefor of the following new paragraphs:. Amendment of section 2 (a) a salary calculated at the annual rate ofK54,437,388; and (b) a special annual allowance ofK44,373,864. . --.
