Criminal Procedure Code (Amendment) 2005 [No. 9 of 2005 -45 GOVERNMENT OF ZAMBIA ACT No. 9 of 2005 Date of Assent: 25thApril, 2005 An Act to amend the Criminal Procednre Code [17th May, 2005 ENACTED by the Parliament of Zambia. 1. This Act may be cited as the Criminal Procedure Code (Amendment) Act, 2005, and shall be read as one with the Criminal Procedure Code, in this Act referred to as the principal Act. Enactment Short title and com­ mencement 2. Section one hundred and twenty-three of the principal Act is amended in the proviso to subsection (I) by the deletion of paragraph (iv) _and the substitution therefor of the following: Amendment ofSection 123 (iv) theft of motor vehicle, if such person has previously been convicted of theft of motor vehicle.
