2. Section two of the principal Act is amended by the insertion, in the appropriate place, of the following new definition: Amendment of section 2 Amendment of section 3 "approved amendments of2008" means the amendments to the Fund Agreement approved by the Board of Governors of the Fund in Resolution 63-2 of 28th April, 2008, and Resolution 63-3 of 5th May, 2008;.

This provision amends section 3 of the principal Act by changing paragraphs (c) and (d) and adding a new paragraph (e).

3. Section three of the principal Act is amended- (a) in paragraph (c), by the deletion of the word "and" after the semi-colon; (b) in paragraph (d), by the deletion of the full-stop at the end of that paragraph and the substitution therefor ofa semi colon and the word "and"; and (c) by the insertion, immediately after paragraph ( d), of the following new paragraph: (e) to accept the approved amendments of2008 and to execute and deposit with the Fund, an instrument stating that the Government of Zambia has accepted the proposed amendment of the Articles of Agreement of the Fund to enhance voice and participation in the Fund and expand the investment authority of the Fund. Single copies of this Act may be obtained from the Government Printer, P.O. Box 30/36, 10101 Lusaka. Price Kl,000 each. 554
