About this statute

People who were Board officers or employees before commencement continue as Council officers or employees, and their service is treated as continuous. After commencement, the Board’s assets, rights, and obligations transfer to the Council, and related registrations must be updated without registration fees. Pending Board proceedings may continue by or against the Council, and after commencement the Council may be sued or sue over rights, liabilities, or obligations tied to the Board.
