This section defines “repealed Act” as the Day Nurseries Act, 1957, unless the context otherwise requires. The Day Nurseries Act, 1957 is repealed. Existing registration certificates stay valid for six months, after which the holder must apply under the Education Act, 2011. Existing rights under the repealed Act continue as if under the Education Act, 2011. Pending or later proceedings involving a local authority may be continued or brought by or against the Government.
