2. The expenditure on the services of the Republic during the financial year which ended on 31 st December, 2008, of the moneys indicated in respect of the services in the third column of the Schedule, being expenditure in excess of the moneys appropriated for the services by the Appropriation Act, 2008, and the Supplementary Appropriation (2008) Act, 20 I 0, is hereby approved.
