Mines and Minerals Development [No. 28 of 2011 515 (Amendment) GOVERNMENT OF ZAMBIA ACT No. 28 of 2011 Date of Assent: 28th December, 2011 An Act to amend the Mines and Minerals Development Act, 2008. [29th December, 2011 ENACTED by the Parliament of Zambia. 1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Mines and Minerals Development (Amendment) Act, 2011, and shall be read as one with the Mines and Minerals Development Act, 2008, in this Act referred to as the principal Act. (2) This Act shall come into operation on 1st April, 2012. 2. Section one hundred and thirty-three of the principal Act is amended in subsection (1) by the deletion of the words “ three” and “ five ” wherever they appear, and the substitution therefor of the word “ six ”.
