Patents and Companies Registration Agency (Amendment) [No. 12 of 2013 285 GOVERNMENT OF ZAMBIA ACT No. 12 of 2013 Date of Assent: 13th December, 2013 An Act to amend the Patents and Companies Registration Agency, Act. [ 19th December, 2013 ENACTED by the Parliament of Zambia. 1. (I) This Act may be cited as the Patents and Companies Registration Agency (Amendment) Act, 2013, and shall be read as one with the Patents and Companies Registration Agency Act, 20 I 0, in this Act referred to as the principal Act. (2) This Act shall come into operation on lstJanuary, 2014. Enactment Short title and commence­ ment Act No. 15 of2010 2. Section sixteen of the principal Act is amended by the­ (a) deletion in paragraph (b) of subsection (l) of the word Amendment of section 16 "fees"; (b) inse1iion, immediately after subsection (2), of the following new subsection: (3) Fees charged and collected for services provided by the Agency shall form part of the general revenues of the Republic.; and (c) re-numbering of subsections (3) and ( 4) as subsections (4) and (5), respectively.
