1. This Act may be cited as the Excess Expenditure Short Title Appropriation Act, 2016.

2. The expenditure on the services of the Republic during the financial year ending on 31st December, 2016, of the monies indicated in respect of the services in the third column of the Schedule being expenditure in excess of the monies appropriated for the services by the Appropriation Act, 2015, Supplementary Appropriation Act, 2016 and Supplementary Appropriation (2016) Act, 2016, is approved.
