Employment (Amendment) [No. 20 of 2017 679 GOVERNMENT OF ZAMBIA ACT No. 20 of 2017 Date of Assent: 19th December, 2017 An Act to amend the Employment Act. [ 22nd December, 2017 ENACTED by the Parliament of Zambia. 1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Employment (Amendment) Act, 2017, and shall be read as one with the Employment Act, in this Act referred to as the principal Act. (2) This Act shall come into operation on 1st January, 2018. Enactment Short Title and Comme- ncement Cap. 268 2. Section 25 of the principal Act is amended by the insertion of the following subsection immediately after subsection (2): Amendment of section 25 (3) A person who contravens this section commits an offence. Copies of this Act can be obtained from the Government Printer, P.O. Box 30136, 10101 Lusaka. Price K4 each. 680
