Petroleum (Exploration and Production) (Amendment) [No. 10 of 2020 187 GOVERNMENT OF ZAMBIA ACT No. 10 of 2021 Date of Assent: 23rd March, 2021 An Act to amend the Petroleum (Exploration and Production) Act, 2008. [24th March, 2021 ENACTED by the Parliament of Zambia. 1. This Act may be cited as the Petroleum (Exploration and Production) (Amendment) Act, 2021, and shall be read as one with the Petroleum (Exploration and Production) Act, 2008, in this Act referred to as the principal Act. 2. Section 90 of the principal Act is amended by the deletion of subsection (1) and the substitution therefor of the following: (1) The ministry responsible for mines shall provide secretarial services to the Committee. 3. Section 91(1) of the principal Act is amended by the — (a) deletion of paragraph (a); (b) renumbering of paragraph (b), (c), (d), (e), (f), (g), (h), (a), (b), (c), (d), (i), (j), (k) and (l) as paragraphs (e), (f), (g), (h), (i), (j) and (k) respectively; and (c) by the insertion of the following new subsection immediately after subsection (1): Enactment Short title Act No. 10 of 2008 Amendment of section 90 Amendment of section 91 (1A) The Minister shall appoint the the Petroleum Technical Chairperson of Committee.
