Public Service Pensions (Amendment) [No. 11 of 2021 189 GOVERNMENT OF ZAMBIA ACT No. 11 of 2021 Date of Assent: 23rd March, 2021 An Act to amend the Public Service Pensions Act. [24th March, 2021 ENACTED by the Parliament of Zambia. 1. This Act may be cited as the Public Service Pensions (Amendment) Act, 2021, and shall be read as one with the Public Service Pensions Act, in this Act referred to as the principal Act. 2. Section 4(1) of the principal Act is amended by the deletion of paragraphs (a) and (b) and the substitution therefor of the following: (a) a representative of the ministry responsible for labour Enactment Short title Cap. 260 Amendment of section 4 and social security; and (b) a representative of the Public Service Management Division, Cabinet Office;. 3. Section 7 of the principal Act is amended by the insertion of— (a) the figure “(1)” between the figure “7” and the word “The”; and (b) the following new subsections: Amendment of section 7 (2) The Minister may give the Board general or specific directions relating to the performance of its functions and the Board shall give effect to these directions to the extent that the directions are not inconsistent with this Act. (3) The Minister may enter into performance contracts with the Board for a specified period which shall be consistent with the provisions of this Act Single copies of this Act may be obtained from the Government Printer, P.O.
