This provision adds two definitions to section 2: “Higher Education Authority” and “Zambia Qualifications Authority.” This provision amends section 15(1) of the principal Act by replacing paragraph (b). This provision amends section 29(b) by deleting the words “and training” after “development”. This provision amends Section 42 of the principal Act by deleting subsection (1) and renumbering former subsections (2), (3) and (4). This provision amends Section 60 of the principal Act by deleting paragraph (g) and renumbering later paragraphs.

§ 2Section 2 of the principal Act is amended by the insertion ofAmendment

This provision adds two definitions to section 2: “Higher Education Authority” and “Zambia Qualifications Authority.”

2. Section 2 of the principal Act is amended by the insertion of the following new definitions in the appropriate places in alphabetical order: Amendment of section 2 “Higher Education Authority” means the Higher Education Authority established under the Higher Education Act, 2013;; and “Zambia Qualifications Authority” means the Zambia Qualifications Authority established under the Zambia Qualifications Authority Act, 2011.
