Section 17 of the principal Act is amended

Section 17 is amended to require the relevant qualification to be accredited and recognised by the Zambia Qualifications Authority, and subsection (3) is deleted.

4. Section 17 of the principal Act is amended— (a) in subsection (1), by the deletion of paragraph (c) and the substitution therefor of the following: (c) holds a qualification accredited and recognised by the Zambia Qualifications Authority;; and (b) by the deletion of subsection (3).

This section amends Section 44 of the principal Act by deleting subsection (1) and renumbering the remaining subsections.

5. Section 44 of the principal Act is amended by the— (a) deletion of subsection (1); and (b) renumbering of subsections (2), (3) and (4) as subsections (1), (2) and (3), respectively.

This section amends section 62(2) of the principal Act by adding a qualification phrase, deleting one paragraph, and renumbering later paragraphs.

6. Section 62 (2) of the principal Act is amended— (a) in paragraph (f), by the insertion of the words “accredited and recognised by the Zambia Qualifications Authority” immediately after the word “qualifications”; (b) by the deletion of paragraph (g); and (c) by the renumbering of paragraphs (h), (i),(j),(k) and (l) as paragraphs (g),(h), (i),(j) and (k), respectively.
