Citizens Economic Empowerment (Amendment) [No. 5 of 2021 177 GOVERNMENT OF ZAMBIA ACT No. 5 of 2021 Date of Assent: 23rd March, 2021 An Act to amend the Citizens Economic Empowerment Act, 2006. ENACTED by the Parliament of Zambia. [24th March, 2021 1. This Act may be cited as the Citizens Economic Empowerment (Amendment) Act, 2021, and shall be read as one with the Citizens Economic Empowerment Act, 2006, in this Act referred to as the principal Act. 2. Section 7(1) of the principal Act is amended by the deletion of paragraphs (b), (c), (d) and (e) and the substitution therefor of the following: (b) (c) (d) a representative of the Secretary to the Treasury; a representative of the ministry responsible for commerce, trade and industry; a representative of the ministry responsible for labour and social security; and (e) a representative of the Attorney-General.
