Control of Goods (Amendment) [No. 7 of 2021 181 GOVERNMENT OF ZAMBIA ACT No. 7 of 2021 Date of Assent: 23rd March, 2021 An Act to amend the Control of Goods Act. [24th March, 2021 ENACTED by the Parliament of Zambia. 1. This Act may be cited as the Control of Goods (Amendment) Act, 2021, and shall be read as one with the Control of Goods Act, in this Act referred to as the principal Act. Enactment Short title Cap. 421 2. Section 4G of the principal Act is amended by— (a) the deletion of subsection (1) and the substitution therefor Amendment of section 4G of the following: (1.) (a) the Director responsible for foreign trade in the ministry responsible for commerce, trade and industry; (b) the Director responsible for domestic trade in the ministry responsible for commerce, trade and industry; (c) the Director responsible for industry in the ministry responsible for commere, trade and industry; (d) a representative each of the ministries responsible for— (i) budget and economic affairs; Single copies of this Act may be obtained from the Government Printer, P.O. Box 30136, 10101 Lusaka, Price K4.00 each. 182 No.7 of 2021] Control of Goods (Amendment) (ii) foreign affairs; and (iii) agriculture; (e) a representative of the Commissioner-General of the Zambia Revenue Authority; (f) a representative of the Attorney-General; and (g) two persons with knowledge and experience in matters relating to this Act.; and (b) the deletion of subsection (3) and the substitution therefor of the following: (3) The Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson of the Advisory Committee shall be appointed by the Minister.
