Public-Private Partnership (Amendment) [No. 20 of 2026 607 GOVERNMENT OF ZAMBIA ACT No. 20 of 2026 Date of Assent: 4th June, 2026 An Act to amend the Public-Private Partnership Act. [12th June, 2026 ENACTED by the Parliament of Zambia. 1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Public-Private Partnership (Amendment) Act, 2026, and shall be read as one with the Public- Private Partnership Act, 2023, in this Act referred to as the principal Act. (2) This Act shall come into operation on the expiry of the term of office, or removal by the President, of the members of the Council holding office prior to the enactment of this Act, after which the President shall appoint the members of the Council in accordance with this Act. Enactment Short title and commencement Act No. 18 of 2023 2. Section 7(1) of the principal Act is amended by the deletion of paragraphs (c) and (d) and the substitution therefor of the following: Amendment of section 7 (c) two other Ministers, whose portfolio functions are relevant to public-private partnerships; and (d) five other persons from the private sector with proven knowledge and experience in matters relating to public- private partnerships.
