This section states the short title of the Order. The traders listed in the First Schedule are authorised to trade in all essential commodities. The Minister’s trader-authorisation powers are delegated to the District Executive Secretary for the district where the trader operates. Applications for authorisation to trade in essential commodities must be made in Form I in the Second Schedule. The form asks for the applicant’s name.
