Fishing boats must be registered with the Director, get a number, and show that number on both sides of the hull.

3. (1) Every fishing boa.t shall be registered with the Director. (2) A fishing boat registered under paragraph (1) shall be allocated a number which shall be displayed on both sides of the hull. (3) Any person who fails to register a. fiahing boat or to comply with sub-regulation (2) shall be guilty of a.n offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding one hundred kwa.oha or to imprisonment not exceeding three months, or to both sach fine and imprisonment.
