Supp/emelll to the Republic o(Zambia Government Gazelle dated Friday. 9th January. 2004 I GOVERNMENT OF ZAMBIA STATlITORY INSTRUMENT No. I OF 2004 The Chiefs Act (Laws, VoJume 16, Cap. 287) The Chiefs (Recognition) Order, 2004 WHEREAS the President is satisfied that the person named in the Schedule to this Order is entitled to hold the office specified therein as required by subsection (2) of section three of the Chiefs Act; NowIBFREFORE, in exercise of the powers contained in section three of the Chiefs Act, the following Order is hereby made: I. This Order may be cited as the Chiefs (Recognition) Order, Title 2004. 2. The p erson named in the Schedule to this Order is hereby Recognition recognised as being, within the area in Zambia described in the ofChief Schedule: the holder of the office specified in the Schedule.
