Supplement to the Republic of Zambia Government Gazette dated Friday. 24th March. 2006 149 GOV ERNMENT OF ZAMBIA STATUTORY INSTRUMENT No. 33 OF 2006 The Chiefs Act (Laws, Volume 16, Cap. 287) The Chiefs (Recognition) Order, 200� WH�REAS the President is satisfied that the person named in the Schedule to this Order is entitled to hold the office specified therein as required by subsection (2) of section three of the Chiefs Act; Now THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers 'contained in section three of the Chiefs Act, the following Order is hereby made: I. This Order may be cited as the Chiefs (Recognition) Order, Title 2006. 2. The person named in the Schedule to this Order is hereby recognised as being, within the area in Zambia described in the Schedule, the holder of the office specified in the Schedule.
