Supplementary to the Republic of Zambia Government Gazette dated Friday, 20th February, 2009 91 GOVERNMENT OF ZAMBIA STATUTORY INSTRUMENT No. 14 OF 2009 The Chiefs Act (Laws, Volume 16, Cap. 287) The Chiefs (Recognition) Order, 2009 WHEREAS the President is satified that the person named in the Schedule to this Order is entiled to-hold the office specified therein as required by subsection (2) of section three of the Chiefs Act: Now THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers contained in section three of the Chiefs Act, the following Order is hereby made: I. This Order may be cited as the Chiefs (Recognition) Title Order, 2009. 2. The person named in the Schedule to this Order is hereby Recognition ofChief recognised as being within the area in Zambia described in the Schedule, the holder of the office specified in the Schedule.
