Supplement to the Republic of Zambia Government Gazette dated Monday, 20th April; 2009 119 GOVERNMENT OF ZAMBIA STATUTORY INSTRUMENT No. 27 OF 2009 The Mines and Minerals Development Act (Act No. 7 of 2008) r The Mines and Minerals Development (Mining Rights and Non-Mining Rights) Order, 2009 · IN EXERCISE of the powers contained in section one hundred and sixty-two of the Mines and Minerals Development Act, 2008, the following Order is hereby made: I. This Order may be cited as the Mines and Minerals Development (Mining Rights and Non-Mining Rights) Odrer, 2009. Title 2. The Second Schedule to the Act is amended- Amendment ofSeccnd Schedule (a) in paragraph 2- (i) by the deletion, in subparagraph (I), of the words· . "one year" and the substitution therefor of the . words "two years" ·· (ii) by the deletion, in subparagraph (2), of the words "one year" and the substitution therefor of the words "two years" I ' ', (b) in paragraph 3, by the deletion of the words "ninety days" and the substitution therefor of the words "one year and six months" and (c) in paragraph 4, by deletion of the words "six months" and the substitution therefor of the words "one year and six mo�ths".
