Electoral Process (Local Government By- Elections) (Election Date and Time of Poll) (No. 2) Order, 2019

1. This Order may be cited as the Electoral Process (Local Government By-Elections) (Election Date and Time of Poll) (No.2) Order, 2019. Title

2. A candidate for election as a councillor in a district and ward set out in the Schedule shall lodge a nomination with the Returning Officer on Thursday, 14th March, 2019, between 0900 hours and 1500 hours.

3. The campaign period shall commence on Thursday, 14th March, 2019, at 1500 hours and close at 1800 hours on Wednesday, 10th April, 2019. Date and time of nomination for election Campaign period

4. ( 1) The poll for the election of a councillor in a district and ward set out in the Schedule shall take place on Thursday, 11 th April, 2019, between 0600 hours and 1800 hours. Election date and times of poll (2) A poll shall not be taken in a district and ward if only one candidate is validly nominated.
