1. This Order may be cited as the Electoral Process (Local Government By-Elections) (Election Date and Time of Poll) (No. 8 ) Order, 2020. Title

2. A candidate for election as a councillor in a district and ward set out in the Schedule shall lodge a nomination with the returning officer on Thursday, 1st October, 2020, between 09:00 hours and 15:00 hours. Date and time of nomination for election

3. The campaign period shall commence on Thursday, 1st October, 2020, at 15:00 hours and close at 18:00 hours on Wednesday, 21st October, 2020. Campaign period

4. (1) The poll for the election of a councillor in a district and ward set out in the Schedule shall take place on Thursday, 22nd October, 2020, between 06:00 hours and 18:00 hours. Election date and time of poll (2) A poll shall not be taken in a district and ward if only one candidate is validly nominated.
