Forest Reserve No. 4: Maposa (Cessation) Order, 2021

1. This Order may be cited as the Forest Reserve No. 4: Title Maposa (Cessation) Order, 2021.

2. The area described as Forest Reserve No. 4: Maposa in Government Notice No. 72 of 1946 shall cease to be a Forest Reserve from the date of publication of this Order. Cessation of local forest GN. 72 of 1946 Copies of this Statutory Instrument can be obtained from the Government Printer, P.O. Box 30136, 10101 Lusaka. Price K 4.00 each. 2 Statutory Instruments 8th January, 2021 SCHEDULE (Paragraph 2) FOREST RESERVE No. 4 MAPOSA Stating at Beacon BH718 at the north-east corner of Farm No. 2206 the boundary proceeds in a straight line to Beacon KL169 at the south-east corner of Farm No. 2464; thence continuing northwards through Beacons JB224 and L541 to Beacon JB216 on the northen boundary of Wayleave S172; thence south-eastwards along this boundary through Beacons JB218, JB220 and JB222, to a point on a Wayleave boundary approximately 30.48 metes north-west of Beacon CG1044; thence westwards for a distance of about 248.412 metres; thence southwards for a distance of about 256.032 metres; thence eastwards for a distance of about 36.576 metres to Beacon JB191; thence in a straight line to Beacon JB188 on the south-west edge of the Ndola- Kitwe Main Road Reserve; thence south-eastwards along this edge to the right bank of the Baluba River; thence down this bank to the south-eastern corner of farm No. 2206 near beacon BH719; thence northwards in straight line through the latter beacon to Beacon BH718, the point of starting. The above described area, in extent 8,902.7212 metres approximately, is shown bordered green on plan No. FR4/2 deposited in the office of the Survey-General, signed by him and dated 24th March, 1969.
