1. This Order may be cited as the Electoral Process (Local Government By-Elections) (Election Date and Time of Poll) Order, 2022. Title

2. A candidate for election as Council Chairperson in the district set out in the Schedule shall lodge a nomination with the Returning Officer on Thursday, 25th August, 2022, between 0900 hours and 1500 hours. Date and time of nomination for election

3. The campaign period shall commence on Thursday, 25th August, 2022, at 1500 hours and close at 1800 hours on Wednesday, 14th September, 2022. Campaign period

4. (1) The poll for the election of a Council Chairperson in a district and ward set out in the Schedule shall take place on Thursday, 15th September, 2022, between 0600 hours and 1800 hours. (2) A poll shall not be taken in a district and ward if only one candidate is validly nominated.
