Economic and Financial Crimes (Division of Court) (Amendment) Order, 2024

1. This Order maybe cited as The Economic and Financial Crimes (Divison of Court) (Amendment) Order, 2024 and shall be read as one with the Economic and Financial Crimes (Division of Court) Order, 2022, in this Order referred to as the Principal Order.

2. The Principal Order is amended by the insertion of the following new paragraph immediately after paragraph 1:

1A. requires — In this Order unless the context otherwise “corruption” has the meaning assigned to the word “corrupt” in the Anti-Corruption Act, 2012; and “economic and financial crime” means an omission or non-violent unlawful act by a person which leads or may lead to financial loss or illegal gain, either individually or in a group in violation of the law governing economic activity in the Republic.
