Decision H3 point 2 applies; the exchange rate for currency conversion of family allowances to determine the differential supplement under Article 68(2) of Regulation No 883/2004 is the rate published on the day the institution of the State of employment executes the payment. The fact that the allowance is paid in Swiss francs by a Swiss institution does not affect the application of EU rules. Points 3-5 of Decision H3 do not apply in this context.
