Judgment

[2025] JRC 213

JUDGMENT THE BAILIFF: 1. Reasons will follow for the sentences in due course.

2. We deal first with the matter of confiscation which we defer for further consideration in the case of Arnett to the 17 October at 10am before this Court. In the case of Leeming to the 23 October before this Court. We defer the issue of forfeiture and destruction of the drugs on the same basis and to the same dates for further order at that time.

3. Although we have observations to make in due course about the basis of the calculation essentially the Court agrees with the conclusions moved for by the Crown, and you are each sentenced to 5 years' imprisonment. Authorities Customs and Excise (Jersey) Law 1999. Proceeds of Crime (Jersey) Law 1999. Rimmer v Attorney General [2001] JLR 373 .
