In re TT (Minor) (Adoption Cause E001 of 2026) [2026] KEHC 10288 (KLR) (13 July 2026) (Ruling) Neutral citation: [2026] KEHC 10288 (KLR) Republic of Kenya In the High Court at Meru Adoption Cause E001 of 2026 SM Githinji, J July 13, 2026 IN THE MATTER OF THE CHILDREN ACT 2022 IN THE MATTER OF BABY TT……….(MINOR) AND In the matter of FMK 1st Applicant JMN 2nd Applicant Ruling 1.Upon reading the Ex-parte Originating Summons, the Affidavit in support thereof, the reports filed by the Guardian ad litem, the Director of Children’s Services, and the duly registered Adoption Society, the Court being satisfied that all the statutory requirements under the Children Act, No. 29 of 2022 have been complied with, and further being satisfied that it is in the best interest of the child that the application be allowed, 2.It is hereby ordered that:-1.The Applicants, Frankline Mutwiri Kabuga and Jane Muthoni Nyaga be and are hereby authorised to adopt the child presently known as Baby TT.2.Upon the making of this order, the child shall henceforth be known as TNM.3.The child’s date of birth shall be 15th October, 2024.4.The child’s place of birth shall be Kitengela, Kajiado County. 5.Rev. Joyce Wanja Kirimi is hereby appointed as the legal guardian of the child in the event of the death or incapacity of the adoptive parents. 6.The Registrar – General is hereby directed to make the appropriate entry in the Adopted Children Registrar in accordance with Section 195 of the Children Act, No. 29 of 2022. 7.The Guardian ad Litem is hereby discharged from her duties.
