The evidence showed that the County Council of Kisumu, as the registered proprietor, lawfully repossessed and reallocated the plots, and the leasehold interests of the 6th and 7th respondents were validly granted. The appellants' case was fundamentally flawed in targeting the Municipal Council, which had no authority over the land in question.
