Upon expiry of the Deed of Transfer and the NMS tenure, the Claimants continued to render services to the 1st Respondent, who paid their salaries and issued termination letters acknowledging an employment relationship. This conduct created an implied contract of service between the Claimants and the 1st Respondent, making the latter their employer under the Employment Act. The 1st Respondent failed to provide valid reasons for termination or to follow due process as required by Sections 41, 43, and 45 of the Employment Act.
