However, the respondent provided receipts showing he made cash payments to suppliers for some dishonoured cheques, which reduced the outstanding liability. The Tribunal recalculated the overdrawn amount to Kshs. 2,343,905.50, deducted the respondent's proven payments of Kshs. 255,245, and determined the net overdrawn amount to be Kshs. 2,088,660.50.
