The Client did not oppose the adoption of the taxed costs as a judgment sum but objected to the accrual of interest from the date of filing. The court held that under Rule 7 of the Advocates Remuneration Order, interest at 14% per annum is chargeable from one month after delivery of the bill to the client, provided the claim for interest was made before payment.
