The court found that the warrants of attachment issued on 24th May 2016 were irregular because no notice to show cause was issued to the respondent as required by Order 22 Rule 18(a) of the Civil Procedure Rules, 2010, given that more than one year had elapsed since the date of the decree. Additionally, the court was satisfied that the respondent had regularised the payment plan as ordered in the ruling of 26th June 2015, settling the arrears and continuing with monthly instalments.
