The High Court lacks jurisdiction to tax an advocate-client bill of costs arising from proceedings before the Employment and Labour Relations Court (ELRC). The Deputy Registrar of the High Court acknowledged the matter's ELRC origin but proceeded to tax the bill, which was an error. The Constitution expressly bars the High Court from handling disputes reserved for the ELRC, and advocate-client bills consequent to ELRC proceedings must be filed and taxed before the ELRC. The taxation conducted by the Deputy Registrar was therefore without jurisdiction, rendering the proceedings and resultant orders null and void.
