The confirmation of the grant before the statutory six-month period was irregular and invalid. The appellant did not act with unclean hands, having disclosed all she knew about the deceased’s family. The evidence did not establish that Elizabeth Nyambura Kanja was married to the deceased’s son or that Eliza Njeri Johana and her children were valid beneficiaries, as their relationships and dependency were not sufficiently proved.
