The defendant did not acquire any proprietary interest in the suit property, and any license or permission was revocable at the plaintiff's will. The court held that the defendant's continued occupation after withdrawal of consent constituted trespass. The suit was not time barred, as limitation began to run only after the withdrawal of consent, which occurred in 2012.
