Section 3(1) of the repealed Land Disputes Tribunal Act limited the Tribunal's jurisdiction to disputes concerning division, boundaries, occupation, or trespass to land, and did not extend to matters of title or registration. The Tribunal's decision to direct the removal of the applicant's name from the register and transfer ownership was therefore ultra vires, illegal, and a nullity.
