Since the appellant failed to extract the order before filing the record of appeal, there was no valid basis for the appeal, and the Court lacked jurisdiction to entertain it. The subsequent extraction and filing of the order by supplemental record did not cure the defect, as jurisdiction cannot be conferred retrospectively by procedural compliance after the fact.
