The claimant failed to discharge the burden of proof for unlawful and unfair termination as he did not testify or provide evidence to support his claims. The court found that the employment contract provided for a gross salary inclusive of house allowance, and evidence showed that the claimant was paid salary for February and March 2016 as well as one month's salary in lieu of notice. The claim for defamation also failed due to lack of evidence. Consequently, all claims by the claimant were dismissed for want of proof.
