However, the court held that the right of the insurer to bring a claim under subrogation accrued on 6th January, 2011, when indemnification occurred. Pursuant to Section 4(1) of the Limitation of Actions Act, the limitation period for such a claim is six years, expiring on 6th January, 2017.
