The National Executive Council had the constitutional mandate to suspend the 1st plaintiff, and the impugned decisions had already been implemented prior to the application. The court held that interlocutory orders could not be granted to reverse actions already taken, especially where the plaintiffs had not exhausted internal dispute resolution mechanisms provided by the association's constitution.
